Greener Pastures Therapy Center, PLLC is comprised of dedicated and skilled healthcare professionals, who are highly trained to help meet and exceed the needs of our patients.  We offer occupational therapy and physical therapy services in both traditional and non-traditional formats. The non-traditional format integrates hippotherapy into a patient's plan of care, if deemed appropriate. "The term hippotherapy refers to how occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology professionals use evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning in the purposeful manipulation of equine movement, as a therapy tool to engage sensory, neuromotor and cognitive systems to promote functional outcomes." (AHA, 2020). This means that a horse may be used during a therapy session to provide quality movement for the patient’s body systems to interpret and promote positive therapeutic outcomes, in order to help meet the patient’s individual goals.
